Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from OpenRSVP. However, because our products are distributed as digital software license keys, our refund policy differs from physical goods or monthly SaaS subscriptions.
1. Digital Goods & License Keys
When you purchase a Commercial License Tier, you are purchasing a digital license key that instantly unlocks premium capabilities within your self-hosted instance.
Because digital license keys cannot be effectively "returned" once issued and viewed, all sales of digital license keys are final and non-refundable.
2. No Subscriptions or Prorated Refunds
Since our Commercial licenses are sold as one-time payments or annual passes (rather than monthly SaaS subscriptions), we do not offer prorated refunds for unused time if you choose to stop using the software before your license expires.
3. Exceptional Circumstances
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis strictly for the following exceptional circumstances:
- Your license key was not delivered due to a technical error on our end.
- You were charged multiple times for the same transaction in error.
- The software fails to function fundamentally as described, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
To request a review for an exceptional circumstance, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase.
